The tour will begin after you meet your private driver who will be easily recognizable due to the sign on which will be written your name and our agency logo at the port where your cruise ship will be docked. After a brief presentation your private driver will accompany you at the luxurious vehicle where and will offer you every comfort you need. On the way to Pompeii, we will drive by Mt. Vesuvius, the volcano responsible for one of the most famous historical events in Italy. The old city of Pompeii is located at the base of the Vesuvius and was flourish during the Period of the Roman Empire. After the eruptions of the Volcano in 79 B.C the city has been destroyed and covered by ashes and lapillus. The Archeological dig started in 1748 and in three centuries only 3/5 part of the city has been discovered. Now the city has declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO and 3.750.000 tourists each year come to visit it.

After that we will visit one the most important city of Italy, Naples where we will have lunch. Enjoy the original Pizza in the place where it was created, or, if you prefer another amazing dish of Neapolitan cuisine you just have to ask us, thanks to its incredible food tradition you have literally hundreds of alternatives.Our cheeses are fine Italian cheeses made from high quality milks, and the mozzarella is also known as “white gold”, for its premium quality and taste. The crust releases the flavor of well-baked bread. The sauce delivers the characteristic aroma of a fresh and fragrant mediterranean plate. 90 seconds in our wood-fired ovens at close to 1000 degrees bake it to perfection. Neapolitan Pizza is magic. Neapolitan Pizza exalts the flavors, and celebrates the senses. Each bite distributes an array of flavors, an arrangement of textures. Neapolitan Pizza is fine pizza. Pizza with a capital N. We will then go to the Archaeological Museum of Naples, driving along the Neapolitan streets your driver will show and explain you the history, the architecture and the buildings of this incredible place. The amazing squares like “Piazza Dante” dedicated to the very famous Italian poet, “Piazza del Plebiscito” where you can find the Palace of the King, next to the “San Carlo” theatre, Via Roma where you can go for a nice day of shopping, and many many more amazing places, such as “Port’Alba”, “Piazza del Gesù” with the incredible “Chiesa del Gesù” and “Monastero di Santa Chiara”, and so on. 

Before leaving your private driver please agree upon the time to leave in order to reach your cruise ship on time. During the ride to the port, you can reminisce about your lovely day!

  • Entrance fee for Pompeii is 18 Euro pp. (Open From 8.30 AM until 5.00 PM).
  • Entrance fee for Archeological Museum is 15 Euro pp. (Open From 9.00 AM until 4.00 PM. Reservation no needed for this site.
  • Pizza light lunch is around 20 Euro per person.

General Informations

All our drivers have been trained to give a tour along the route as you are driven to your destinations, however due to strict Italian laws regulating and protecting licensed tour guides our drivers cannot do this outside of the vehicle, in the towns, sites and museums.

In the very rare event that there is an internal assembly or strike in Pompeii, unfortunately they usually do not advise of this in advance.

Kid Friendly: YES (This tour is suitable for children as long as they are supervised by a parent).

Please , comunicate the age of kids up to 6 years old in order to provide a baby car seat.

We reserve the right to change the order in which we visit the sites.

Passengers with a Reduced Mobility (PRM) Friendly : YES (you must enjoy walking short distances and be able to get in and out of minivan and minibus).

Available: All year round, except Tuesdays (Archaeological Museum is closed on tuesday).

Pick-up Time (suggested): 8.30 am (we can change the pick up time according to the cruise ship schedule)

DURATION OF THE TOUR: 8 hours

Passaport Holders under 18 years are entitled to free admission to State owned archaeological sites (Pompeii, Herculaneum, Etc.) and museums, upon production of a valid photo identity document.

The client must know that we will provide this tour despite bad weather.

Amazing day with Giovani to the Almafi Coast and Ravello. My son chooses it, and booked ahead. It was breathtaking, amazing views. We took a train from Roma to Naples, then Giovani, our tour guy, was waiting for us at the train station. Giovani was a very nice, polite, smart and friendly person. Look no further, Gio the singing Amalfi Coast tour guide is your man! From the moment we met Gio he was very personable, made sure he knew all our names and connected with each of us! He picked us up in style in his Mercedes van at our hotel and it was very comfortable. He is very passionate, experienced and knowledgeable about his job and the Campania region! We stopped at many scenic sites along the way where we could take the most amazing photos and of course with Gio too! He makes sure everyone is happy and comfortable. We stopped at a beautiful family owned restaurant along the Amalfi and had the best meal we've had in all of Italy! Anthony the owner was amazing! Excellent food and most beautiful views! We made it to Positano and Amalfi and spent our free time there to shop and see the sites. We didn't make it to Ravello because of the rain storm with hail. Yes in May!! However it was not storming in Gio's van! Just a lot of laughter and singing! Gio made our family vacation of 5 unforgettable and we will Treasure it forever. Look no further! If you want an experienced, knowledgeable, compassionate Amalfi Coast Tour Guide, Geo is your man! Geo gave our family of five adults an experience to remember for a life time. He makes you feel comfortable and ensures to engage with everyone on a personal level by name. We toured Positano and Amalfi, but due to a hail storm May 13th, we felt it was unsafe to tour Ravello. We had a wonderful lunch just outside of Amalfi that was the best meal we had while in Italy at “Le Bonta del Capo” in Conca dei marini. A lovely family owned restaurant overlooking the sea. Anthony was very welcoming and the food specially sourced by his father was amazing! Geo had some great surprises for us along the way that I won’t give away so you’ll be just as surprised!
