We booked day tour with Enrico for 2 in May 2017 and he was the highlight of our 3 week Italy trip! He picked us up at our hotel and wanted to start the day off with coffee so he took us to his favorite coffee bar for cappuccino and Neapolitan pastries. They had the best sfogliatella! Then we continued on our way to the Amalfi Coast, stopping in Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi. He knew the best places to stop and take pictures and even bought us lemon sorbet twice! He pointed out important places in the history of Naples and would talk about each town before stopping to let us stroll through on our own for an hour or so. He also took us the to most amazing seaside lunch place that's only accessible by boat! It was a perfect way to end our vacation. I will definitely be back to take another day trip with Enrico! Grazie Mille Enrico for an unforgettable day in paradise! Oh, and he has the best pizza place recommendations! You must go visit his suggestions!
Amalfi was our fourth stop after Rome, Firenze and Cinque Terre and we had been on many tours in those cities; but I would say the Amalfi Coast private day tour by Lovely Amalfi Tours was by far the best one! Thanks to our excellent guide Giovanni! ☺️He was an absolute pleasure to travel with-we were one couple with a friend of ours and enjoyed ourselves to the fullest! Giovanni was helpful, vivacious, always ready to take pictures, fill us in on the beauty and history of the gorgeous Amalfi coast, great music selection and just the right spots to visit! I'd 100% recommend this tour with Giovanni to anyone who is planning to tour the Amalfi coast in one day anytime soon
We had a wonderful time with Enrico, Giovanni and Lina on our tours of Pompeii, Herculaneum and the Amalfi Coast and we highly recommend Lovely Amalfi Coast Tours! We visited the Amalfi Coast with our guide Enrico in early Oct. 2017. Enrico showed such a passion he has for the Amalfi Coast, He was fun, talkative, and Informative about the area of the world he lives. He knew the best spots for photos, and recommended the most beautiful spot for a lunch I have ever seen. Thanks to Enrico for providing us such an amazing start to our vacation. Will request him again when we return to that most beautiful part of the world.
It is hard to find enough adjectives to describe how much our group of six enjoyed the experience with Love Amalfi Tours. Giavani was our driver and we too feel like we made a new friend. We took two tours and it was hard to say goodby to him after our second tour. He is warm, funny, smart, and very informative and creative in the ways he takes you on the excursion you sign up for. We all have travelled a lot and taken many different tours and all six of us agreed that this was the best experience we have ever had. We continue to talk about how much fun we had and how incredibly beautiful the places we went with Giavani were. We also had Lina as our guide for Pompeii and Herculean and she was vey informative and adeptly helped us get through the crowds at Pompeii while giving us a full understanding of the history there. Don't even look elsewhere for another tour company. There is no question that the way this company is run that it is the very best. We would use them again for all of our tour and transportation needs. We hope to return and must thank Giaviani for making our trip to the Amalfi Coast so very special and so much fun!
We spent a week at a Villa in Positano and booked two tours through Lovely Amalfi Tou poprs. Our driver was Giovanni. He was professional, pleasant, funny and knowledgeable. On our tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum we also booked a guide for each sight. Lina was our guide and clearly knew the history. We would not have known what we were looking at had we not had Lina guiding us. What is amazing about Lovely Amalfi Tours is that all the drivers and guides are employees. They do not use third party companies to manage their tours. I couldn't have been happier with this choice. I would use them again and would not hesitate recommending them to family and friends.
Our trip to Amalfi coast was made heavenly because of Lovely Amalfi Tours and Giovanni. The service provided was excellent and efficient. Customer service of Melania was fabulous. Gio made sure we saw every inch of Amalfi and his lunch suggestions were fabulous. My most favourite memory is Gio singing to beautiful classics driving along the beautiful coastline of Positano. Best experience ever!
Enrico was our wonderful guide who went out of his way to assure we enjoyed our day! He is very knowledgeable and took us to a wonderful restaurant in Positano! Enrico is an exceptional guide with a pretty good singing voice too!
Our day visiting the towns along the Amalfi Coast with Gio was an experience never to be forgotten. Every place was beautiful and seeing them with Gio and listening to him singing happily as he drove us safely along the winding roads was a fabulous day. We feel like we have a new friend in Italy! Wish we could do it all over again tomorrow!
My wife and I selected Giovanni for a day trip around Naples, visiting Pompeii and Vesuvius. What a great day. Giovanni put together a really nice itinerary including lunch and wine tasting - but he was also really great fun to be with. We would strongly recommend him for your future tours.
We booked a private Amalfi tour through our agency in Ankara.My husband,my teenage son and I had wonderful time from the start.Our guide Giovanni was very friendly,pleasant,knowledgeable,funny,informative and very professional.It was amazing experience and our tour was a pleasure from the beginning. Positano,Amalfi and Ravello were great places to visit as well as Napoli. The views were stunning and gorgeous.Giovanni recommended us a local restaurant in Amalfi where we had delicious sea food.We strongly recommend this company as everything was very well organized and we enjoyed every minute of it. Brenda, Lori and Pearl were picked up at Naples port by Gaetano on Sept. 10/16. We had a most memorable day on the Amalfi Coast thanks to our driver Gaetano. We went to Sorrento, Positano and Pompeii. We stopped along the way for pictures and enjoyed the views. Gaetano had arranged for lunch with a wonderful view of Positano below. He played Andrea Bocelli on the way back to port. It was a great day and would definitely book The Lovely Amalfi Coast Tour again.
Our party of 4 were with Giovanni for the Amalfi Coast tour this August. He was promptly at our hotel at 8AM, smiling and enthusiastic to show us this part of "his" Italy. As we departed he gave us some history and quizzed us about our knowledge of his country. He sang to us with his beautiful voice. Every stop he was attentive to what we wanted to see or experience. He liked to discuss politics to history with us. He was interested to know what our personal history was for each person. His van was clean and neat. He even had wet wipes. He seemed to know all the locals and other tour drivers when we stopped. This is the only way to experience the Amalfi coast
We took the Amalfi coastal tour on 17th June 2016.Gaetano picked us up from our B&B in Naples & welcomed us into a aircondtioned minivan.We had an absolutely fantastic day thanks to Gaetano, visiting Positano, Amalfi where we had a lovely lunch then lastly Ravello.All along the way he would stop to allow us amazing photo opportunities of breathtaking views & while im usually not a good passenger I felt very relaxed & safe with Gaetano driving along those narrow coastal roads!We both felt very relaxed the whole day & Gaetano was very friendly & great to talk to. We thought the Amalfi coast was the most beautiful coastline we have ever seen & will be coming back in the near future. When we do we will be using Lovely Amalfi tours again! A big Grazia to Gaetano for making our day one to remember!
