This is now my third tour with Gio Lovely tours this summer. My partner and I had another amazing day with Gio seeing more sights of the Amalfi coast. I had experienced Gio's wonderful hospitality and service first in 2015 when I travelled with my Mum who was visiting me in the UK from Australia. Then in 2018 with my sister who was also visiting from Australia, this time we stayed in Positano for a week. We have had Gio all three times and he offers the best service that one can experience. Welcoming, friendly, warm, engaging and you can see the passion and how proud he is of the area he lives in and you cannot help but immerse yourself into his world. He is punctual, he is also has a great sense of humour and a beautiful Italian singing voice :-) he is very open to the world we live in and loves people from all walks of life. If you are looking to go to Italy and seeing this beautiful coast line please look Gio lovely tours up, you will never be disappointed. Also to note I have a had another tour with another person from Gio Lovely tours and he was amazing too. Please know two of our tours were pick and return to Naples and one other tour and driving was pick up Naples, drop off Positano and return to Rome by car stopping off at Tivoli Gardens. This was on top of the day tours we had to Sorrento, Positano and Pompeii. Please look no further. Thank you to Gio and the team. I had the WONDERFUL good fortune of touring the indescribable Amalfi Coast with Gio in October 2015, along with my friend Anna. Gio is warm and friendly, and handsome to boot! His knowledge of the history and current events of the area is amazing, and our tour was as much fun while we were in the van with him as were the visits to restaurants and shops. He sang to us and kept us totally entertained! My only regret was when it ended.... I HIGHLY recommend Lovely Amalfi Coast Tours! They do not disappoint!
Hands down, the best tour of our family trip ! Gio was amazing and made the day most memorable and the one we speak of most often. Can not wait to be able to travel again and go back and see more with Gio and Amalfi Coast Tours! Like traveling with family:)
I have taken many tours all over the world and this was one of the most fun throughout this adventure along the Amalfi Coast. Giovanni is very knowledgeable and his animated and infectious personality made for a wonderful week. When we return, we will use them again and I would highly recommend them.

Five of us took a cruise in 2019. We hired a private guide in each port. Giovanni was definitely the best guide, EVER. We all just loved our day with him. He is such fun and knowledgeable. We have stayed in touch with him and hope to return. If ever in Italy, get in touch with Giovanni, you will not be disappointed!
Gio was the best tour guide. He was charming, funny, informative and tailored our tour to our specific needs. He went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable at all times and showed us the true amalfi coast from someone who has lived in the area of all of his life. Breathtaking! It was also so much fun that he played Italian music in the car and sang! We are hoping to come back next summer and Gio will be at the top of our list!

My wife is a travel agent and we have traveled extensively. Two years ago we were on a Mediterranean Cruise and we stopped in Italy. My wife had booked us a guided tour of the Amalfi Coast with Lovely Amalfi Coast Tours For ourselves, our daughter and niece. We were picked up By our guide Giovanni (Gio) and spent the better part of the day with him. He is a great driver with a very safe, reliable vehicle and a great personality! He showed us the sites and very knowledgeable in this perfect locality. The girls all fell in love with him and to this day we still all converse with him on Facebook. He recommended an awesome place to enjoy a Great lunch , right on the sea. You couldn’t ask foe a better setting. This was by far one of the best things that I have ever done in my life and I highly recommend it, and Gio!
BEST DECISION EVER! Absolutely breathtaking excursion! You will not regret hiring this company to guide you around Italy! Gorgeous views and excellent food along the way all thanks to the best tour guide we could have ever been blessed with! Vincenzo was fantastic! Tour guide is his title but he was definitely much more than that. He described many places and things we saw along the way, kept track of the time so that we were able to see everything we wanted to that day, willingly took photos of us at all of our stops, kept us entertained the entire day from beginning to end, and we truly felt like we were driving around Italy with a FRIEND! We were able to see all of the highlights on our list of must see places during our stop in Naples including Sorrento, the Amalfi Coast, Positano, & Pompeii. But we were also able to see and visit places we hadn’t known about before, like a local family owned Italian restaurant overlooking the famous Positano beach. Best food we had in all of Italy! All of this wouldn’t have happened without Vincenzo, his fun personality and great recommendations along the way! We are so lucky to have gotten him as our tour guide and we will absolutely look for Vincenzo the next time we are in Italy! Book him now for a fantastic tour worth every penny!
Amalfi Coast & Pompeii Day Trip. We will never forget this day thanks to Enrico and Lena. The scenery of the Amalfi Coast and the history of Pompeii is truly amazing. The high speed train from Rome to Naples is only an hour and Enrico greeted us at the station and within minutes we hit the road in his Mercedes. Our first stop was the pretty village of Serento, excellent shopping and cappuccino. Next stop Positano. Although very popular and therefore crowded it is so beautiful. Enrico suggested lunch at a restaurant high up the mountain called de Costantino. This is a must, we had the most spectacular view and the food and wine absolutely delicious, order the Family meal and house wine, all locally grown produce. With full bellies Enrico then drove us to Pompeii to meet our personal guide Lena. Pompeii in the afternoon is less crowded in the mornings and Lena expertly guided us through avoiding the mass group tours so it was a truly personal experience and her knowledge is fantastic. Pompeii cannot be missed, what a fascinating history and culture. Thanks Enrico and Lena for making this day very special.
Our driver/guide, Gio was perfect - very knowledgable, entertaining and efficient. Great itinerary including hiking up Vesuvius, a lovely lunch at Cantina del Vesuvio winery and Pompeii. Gio's local knowledge and personal service made it so much better than the standard cruise operators' tours.
