Your private driver will greet you at your Hotel / accommodation (or Naples train station), after a brief presentation you will be accompanied to the luxurious vehicle where our staff will offer you every comfort you need. After that they will give you important information about the tour and the places that you are going to visit. Finally, let's get started your dream Private Tour !

You will find yourselves driving to the incredible Sorrento Peninsula. He will stop few times along the way to take fantastic panoramic photos of you with the famous Sorrento, Gulf of Napoli and Amalfi Coast scenary in the background. During the tour,  some cultural and gastronomic general information about the area will be provided along the way (inside the vehicle) by your private driver.Arrived in the city of Sorrento, the private driver will leave you in the historical square called Piazza Tasso for your free time but first of all he will show you the fastest way to go to inner part of the city where you can visit the old churches, museums, the beautiful buildings and the landscapes. You can visit the factories of famous Limoncello; an alcoholic drink made by lemons, sugar and water, a typical Italian product.

Then, before you will be starving , your driver will take you to an incredible Lunch spot which is a local family owned restaurant with an incredible italian scenary surrounding the restaurant. Special appetizer with local Mozzarella cheese and famous Bruschetta, fried vegetable preperad by local italian recipe,  different Pasta taste , wine, water ,dessert and limoncello to end this amazing authentic lunch in a lovely scenary surrended. The italian food is very well known in all over the world but you will have the opportunity to taste the most original cousine right there in Italy.

On the way to Pompeii, we will drive by Mt. Vesuvius, the volcano responsible for one of the most famous historical events in Italy. The old city of Pompeii is located at the base of the Vesuvius and was flourish during the Period of the Roman Empire. After the eruptions of the Volcano in 79 B.C the city has been destroyed and covered by ashes and lapillus. The Archeological dig started in 1748 and in three centuries only 3/5 part of the city has been discovered. Now the city has been declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO and 3.750.000 tourists each year come to visit it.

Before leaving your private driver please agree upon the time to leave. Then the driver will recommend a suitable time to get back to your hotel / accommodation (or Naples train station) after this lovely day!

  • We recommend to add the extra service of the private guide for the ruins so you can immerse yourself in the history of the ruin and you won't risk getting lost, since Pompeii is very vast.
  • “Starting this year, access to Pompeii will be limited and all tickets will be nominative with ID. Therefore, we advise anyone planning to visit the ruins to purchase tickets online in advance (you'll see the link in our quote email), as they will be available one month before the tour date”
  • Gratuity can be paid to the driver at your discretion (it is not mandatory in italy)

General Informations

All our drivers have been trained to give a tour along the route as you are driven to your destinations, however due to strict Italian laws regulating and protecting licensed tour guides our drivers cannot do this outside of the vehicle, in the towns, sites and museums.

In the very rare event that there is an internal assembly or strike in Pompeii, unfortunately they usually do not advise of this in advance.

Kid Friendly: YES (This tour is suitable for children as long as they are supervised by a parent).

Please , comunicate the age of kids up to 6 years old in order to provide a baby car seat.

We reserve the right to change the order in which we visit the sites.

*Reduced Mobility (PRM): Please note that visiting Pompeii ruins involves moderate walking on uneven ancient streets. This tour may not be suitable for guests with significant mobility limitations.However, the tour requires the ability to step in and out of the minivan.

Passaport Holders under 18 years are entitled to free admission to State owned archaeological sites (Pompeii, Herculaneum, Etc.) and museums, upon production of a valid photo identity document.

The client must know that we will provide this tour despite bad weather.

Please be advised that some shops or sites may be closed during the off-season (mid-November through mid-March)

According to our driver on the day , we can also arrange a different tour. This is something possible caused by the traffic , strikes, extreme weather, landslide / mudslide, closed road, etc.

We used Lovely Amalfi Coast Tours for a day, we had 12 people and 2 vans. Gio and the other driver exceeded our expectations. I feel awful I cant remember the second drivers name, he was wonderdul. Our day started with them picking us up at the Cruise port. They were so friendly from the start, I felt like they were family. They brought us to a shop to try Lemonchello as we requested. They stopped at a few places where we were able to get the perfect pictures. As we drove to places they explained what we were seeing and about the town. We then went shopping and had lunch in Sorrento. Then we were off to the Herculaneum. One of the best memories for me is that both my grandparents are from Italy and I had their birth certificates. Gio translated them for me and was able to tell me more about the regions they were from. My grandmother is from a region that makes good wine. Gio helped us find wine from the region and we were able to taste it and ultimately ship some home. This isnt just a tour company. They truly love what they do and treat you like family. I highly recommend them!
