The transfer will begin after you meet your private driver who will be easily recognizable due to the sign on which will be written your name and our agency logo at Naples Train Station or Naples Airport. After a brief presentation your private driver will accompany you at the luxurious vehicle where and will offer you every comfort you need. 

Not only that, but the driver will help you with your luggage, and will accommodate all of your requests. Please communicate the type of vehicle you need to be comfortable (from 1 to 8 seats or from 9 to 19 people) , the number of people and the number of luggages for each person. For the planes/trains we check the schedule to guarantee the service even if the plane/train is late. 

Before to take you to your final destination , you can visit the old city of Pompeii. If your staying in the area for a limited time , you can choose to combine your transfer with a short visit (2 hrs) in one of most historical place of the area.

The volcano is responsible for one of the most famous historical events in Italy, the tragic eruption that hit the old city of Pompeii as well, and this city is our next stop. The old city of Pompeii is located at the base of the Vesuvius and was flourish during the Period of the Roman Empire. After the eruptions of the Volcano in 79 B.C. the city has been destroyed and covered by ashes and lapillus. The Archeological dig started in 1748 and in three centuries only 3/5 part of the city has been discovered. Now the city has declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO and 3.750.000 tourists each year come to visit it. Pompeii before the eruption was known as a vacation community for high society. It had a forum, amphitheater, gymnasium, shops and an aqueduct that delivered water for irrigation, fountains and private baths. Some of the ruins are remarkably preserved with elaborately detailed mosaics and colorful frescoes decorating the interiors of wealthy homeowners' villas.

Tickets will be paid (in cash) to your guide at the entrance and it is 18 Euro for Adults. It is Free of Charge up to 18 yrs old (they need to show their passaport or ID).
  • Gratuity can be paid to the driver at your discretion (it is not mandatory in italy)

General Informations

All our drivers have been trained to give a tour along the route as you are driven to your destinations, however due to strict Italian laws regulating and protecting licensed tour guides our drivers cannot do this outside of the vehicle, in the towns, sites and museums.

Weather and traffic can affect the duration of this transfer.

Our driver will be using the shorter way to get to your destination.

In the very rare event that there is an internal assembly or strike in Pompeii, unfortunately they usually do not advise of this in advance.

Kid Friendly: YES (This tour is suitable for children as long as they are supervised by a parent).

Please , comunicate the age of kids up to 6 years old in order to provide a baby car seat.

We booked day tour with Enrico for 2 in May 2017 and he was the highlight of our 3 week Italy trip! He picked us up at our hotel and wanted to start the day off with coffee so he took us to his favorite coffee bar for cappuccino and Neapolitan pastries. They had the best sfogliatella! Then we continued on our way to the Amalfi Coast, stopping in Positano, Ravello, and Amalfi. He knew the best places to stop and take pictures and even bought us lemon sorbet twice! He pointed out important places in the history of Naples and would talk about each town before stopping to let us stroll through on our own for an hour or so. He also took us the to most amazing seaside lunch place that's only accessible by boat! It was a perfect way to end our vacation. I will definitely be back to take another day trip with Enrico! Grazie Mille Enrico for an unforgettable day in paradise! Oh, and he has the best pizza place recommendations! You must go visit his suggestions!

Amalfi was our fourth stop after Rome, Firenze and Cinque Terre and we had been on many tours in those cities; but I would say the Amalfi Coast private day tour by Lovely Amalfi Tours was by far the best one! We visited the Amalfi Coast with our guide Enrico in early Oct. 2017. Enrico showed such a passion he has for the Amalfi Coast, He was fun, talkative, and Informative about the area of the world he lives. It is hard to find enough adjectives to describe how much our group of six enjoyed the experience with Love Amalfi Tours. Giavani was our driver and we too feel like we made a new friend. We took two tours and it was hard to say goodby to him after our second tour. He is warm, funny, smart, and very informative and creative in the ways he takes you on the excursion you sign up for. We all have travelled a lot and taken many different tours and all six of us agreed that this was the best experience we have ever had. We continue to talk about how much fun we had and how incredibly beautiful the places we went with Giavani were. We also had Lina as our guide for Pompeii and Herculean and she was vey informative and adeptly helped us get through the crowds at Pompeii while giving us a full understanding of the history there. We spent a week at a Villa in Positano and booked two tours through Lovely Amalfi Tou poprs. Our driver was Giovanni. He was professional, pleasant, funny and knowledgeable. On our tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum we also booked a guide for each sight. Lina was our guide and clearly knew the history. We would not have known what we were looking at had we not had Lina guiding us. What is amazing about Lovely Amalfi Tours is that all the drivers and guides are employees. They do not use third party companies to manage their tours. I couldn't have been happier with this choice. I would use them again and would not hesitate recommending them to family and friends.

Our trip to Amalfi coast was made heavenly because of Lovely Amalfi Tours and Giovanni. The service provided was excellent and efficient. Customer service of Melania was fabulous. Gio made sure we saw every inch of Amalfi and his lunch suggestions were fabulous. My most favourite memory is Gio singing to beautiful classics driving along the beautiful coastline of Positano.
