The transfer will begin after you meet your private driver who will be easily recognizable due to the sign on which will be written your name and our agency logo at Naples Train Station or Naples Airport. After a brief presentation your private driver will accompany you at the luxurious vehicle where and will offer you every comfort you need. 

Not only that, but the driver will help you with your luggage, and will accommodate all of your requests. Please communicate the type of vehicle you need to be comfortable (from 1 to 8 seats or from 9 to 19 people) , the number of people and the number of luggages for each person. For the planes/trains we check the schedule to guarantee the service even if the plane/train is late. 

Before to take you to your final destination , you can visit the old city of Pompeii. If your staying in the area for a limited time , you can choose to combine your transfer with a short visit (2 hrs) in one of most historical place of the area.

The volcano is responsible for one of the most famous historical events in Italy, the tragic eruption that hit the old city of Pompeii as well, and this city is our next stop. The old city of Pompeii is located at the base of the Vesuvius and was flourish during the Period of the Roman Empire. After the eruptions of the Volcano in 79 B.C. the city has been destroyed and covered by ashes and lapillus. The Archeological dig started in 1748 and in three centuries only 3/5 part of the city has been discovered. Now the city has declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO and 3.750.000 tourists each year come to visit it. Pompeii before the eruption was known as a vacation community for high society. It had a forum, amphitheater, gymnasium, shops and an aqueduct that delivered water for irrigation, fountains and private baths. Some of the ruins are remarkably preserved with elaborately detailed mosaics and colorful frescoes decorating the interiors of wealthy homeowners' villas.

Tickets will be paid (in cash) to your guide at the entrance and it is 18 Euro for Adults. It is Free of Charge up to 18 yrs old (they need to show their passaport or ID).
  • Gratuity can be paid to the driver at your discretion (it is not mandatory in italy)

General Informations

All our drivers have been trained to give a tour along the route as you are driven to your destinations, however due to strict Italian laws regulating and protecting licensed tour guides our drivers cannot do this outside of the vehicle, in the towns, sites and museums.

Weather and traffic can affect the duration of this transfer.

Our driver will be using the shorter way to get to your destination.

In the very rare event that there is an internal assembly or strike in Pompeii, unfortunately they usually do not advise of this in advance.

Kid Friendly: YES (This tour is suitable for children as long as they are supervised by a parent).

Please , comunicate the age of kids up to 6 years old in order to provide a baby car seat.

Today was the most beautiful day for several reasons. First of course was the scenic views. Second was the most informative guided tour of Pompeii. We learned so much. Lena(sp?) was amazing. But truly without doubt, the reason this day will remain one of our fondest memories is our guide, Enrico. Upbeat, informative and so personable. You absolutely must book with Lovely Amalfi Coast Tours. I never leave reviews, and I’m not just saying that, however I felt compelled to share how wonderful our experience was. We had Gio as our tour guide/friend for the day. Gio felt more like a friend just hanging out and showing us some amazing parts of the coast, while giving us the historical and traditional highlights. He was so outgoing, welcoming and friendly and the spots we stopped at were amazing. He even took us to a less touristy location for lunch (I won’t ruin the surprise or post the name, so people don’t come on to it) and it was the best part of our trip!! Book with them, you will see the beauty of Amalfi from a company that appreciates “tourists” because they get to share their prideful home of the coast of Italy

I would like to highly recommend Gio Lovely Tours as an option for those looking for a private excursion other than an excursion provided by a cruise line. If you’re with a group of 4 or 6 or even 8, a comfortable Mercedes touring van is used for these tours. I can attest that over the years, Gio has been the most reliable and friendly tour guide and is very knowledgeable about the area. My family and friends have used this company for over 10 years! The company is well aware of cruise ship departure times and assure you of a timely return to the port to board your ship. We recently spent the day again with Gio after he picked us up at the port in Naples, Italy. What an exciting day touring the Amalfi Coast with stops that we chose to make and some that he recommended for photos opportunities. He even recommends great lunch venues if you’re looking for somewhere nice to eat on the Amalfi Coast. Pricing I feel is competitive so give them a call so they can make your day the most memorable!

This was hands down the best tour we have ever been on! Communication was quick and easy from the beginning. They were sure to confirm our tour and my requests. We started off getting off on the wrong train stop, as I did not realize there were 2 Naples stops! Giovanni was so kind and flexible and ended up driving further out to come pick us up! He did not have to offer that because it was totally my fault, but I am so grateful that he did! He was very kind and welcoming. The van was comfortable and roomy. Right away Gio made us feel like family. We felt as though we were actually being shown around by a close friend or family member, rather than just a tour guide. He was fun and informative. As soon as he found out my husband's name was Rocky, he played "Eye of the Tiger" and they pretty much hit it off and became BFFs! We started in Pompeii, which was amazing! I highly recommend paying for the private tour guide, otherwise you will not really know what you are looking at. There is not much signage. I felt that you need the guide to explain things so you can fully appreciate where you are and what you are seeing. Next we started towards Amalfi coast and it was breath taking at every turn. We stopped at a lemon farm for a private lunch. What an experience! All the food was so fresh and the service was top notch! We literally felt as if we were having a meal at a relatives house. Just AMAZING! We continued on and Gio dropped us off in Positano for some shopping! After that we headed back to Naples. I was so sad that it was ending. It was our first full day of vacation, and what a way to start off! This company does not give tours, they give experiences! Amazing, unforgettable experiences, with memories to last a lifetime!
