The tour will begin after you meet your private driver who will be easily recognizable due to the sign on which will be written your name and our agency logo at the port where your cruise ship will be docked. After a brief presentation your private driver will accompany you at the luxurious vehicle where and will offer you every comfort you need. Furthermore he will give you important information about the travel and the places that you are going to visit. Finally, let's get started your dream Private Tour !

Our first stop will be Sorrento. Arrived in the city of Sorrento, the private driver will leave you in the historical square called Piazza Tasso, but first of all he will show you the fastest way to go to inner part of the city where you can visit the old churches, museums, the beautiful buildings and the landscapes. You can visit the factory of famous Limoncello; an alcoholic drink made by lemons, sugar and water, a typical Italian product. In Sorrento, you'll enjoy your free time for a photo opportunity and a stroll down to the Sorrento Pier. Corso Italia is Sorrento's flower-lined main boulevard, here you'll find local shops, designer boutiques and cafés.

Later on, we are going to leave this amazing volcano for another kind of experience. Thank to its particular climate, the warm soil, its unique florae, the area is amazingly fertile and full of vineyards which produce incredible wines exported in all the world. With this tour you can arrange a visit to the best winery of the region, and probably of the world. The tour will include tasting of wines as “Lachrimae Christi” or “Capafresca” along with an amazing Italian light lunch made with local ingredients

The volcano is responsible for one of the most famous historical events in Italy, the tragic eruption that hit the old city of Pompeii as well, and this city is our next stop. The old city of Pompeii is located at the base of the Vesuvius and was flourish during the Period of the Roman Empire. After the eruptions of the Volcano in 79 B.C. the city has been destroyed and covered by ashes and lapillus. The Archeological dig started in 1748 and in three centuries only 3/5 part of the city has been discovered. Now the city has declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO and 3.750.000 tourists each year come to visit it. Pompeii before the eruption was known as a vacation community for high society. It had a forum, amphitheater, gymnasium, shops and an aqueduct that delivered water for irrigation, fountains and private baths. Some of the ruins are remarkably preserved with elaborately detailed mosaics and colorful frescoes decorating the interiors of wealthy homeowners' villas.

Before leaving your private driver please agree upon the time to leave in order to reach your cruise ship on time. During the ride to the port, you can reminisce about your lovely day mixed with ancient Roman history and the present day beauty of one of the most famous coastlines in the world!

My husband, daughter and I recently visited Italy for the first time. We used Lovely Amalfi Tours for our transportation from the airport and between cities. We had Gio for our driver for the Amalfi Coast tour and Sorrento/Pompeii. Gio is the BEST and made the trip so much fun and memorable. He was so accommodating to our requests and also a great photographer in so many spots. He truly made us feel like a member of his family and was so knowledgeable about all the areas. Shout out to our other tour guides Laura and Lena for a memorable day at Capri and Pompeii. Would highly recommend Gio to anyone and plan to use him again when we return to Italy, Grazie Mille Gio!!

Lovely Amalfi Tours was fantastic! They planned everything for us and it was perfect. We visited Pompeii, Ravello, Positano and a local family farm/winery. If you do not book your next tour with Lovely Amalfi you are missing out on the best.

Gio is the BEST tour guide ever, he’s friendly, informative and treats you like a family member. We had a fantastic day seeing parts of the beautiful Amalfi Coast and are planning to come back so we can see more! We will always choose Gio when we return, he is awesome!

from England

We were so glad we booked this trip to explore the Amalfi coast while our cruise ship docked in Naples. Gio was ready and waiting for us and made us feel welcome right away. We laughed and joked throughout the day but also learnt a lot about the area and local culture. The sights were truly stunning and far more in depth than we’d have got on a coach excursion. Travelling with two young kids We liked the idea of flexibility, but the recommended timings and scheduled worked perfectly. Not having to worry about a car seat for our 4 year old was also a huge bonus. Thanks Gio, from the Leeds and Liverpool laughing lot.

from San Francisco

Spending the day driving down Amalfi coast with Gio was the highlight of our trip to Italy. Gio was very personable and told us about the Napoli area. His energy was fantastic and we had the best guided experience hands down! A big big thank you for making our day and help us create memories for lifetime!!
