The tour will begin after you meet your private driver who will be easily recognizable due to the sign on which will be written your name and our agency logo at the port where your cruise ship will be docked. After a brief presentation your private driver will accompany you at the luxurious vehicle where and will offer you every comfort you need. Furthermore he will give you important information about the travel and the places that you are going to visit. Finally, let's get started your dream Private Tour !

Your driver will take you on a coastal drive to the famous Amalfi Coast. You will find yourselves driving down-hill directly through Positano.See the houses clung to the mountainside like white sugar lumps coated in brightly coloured bougainvillea tumbling down to a small, beach and warm blue Mediterranean sea. According to an old Italian proverb “In Positano you don’t walk along the streets, you climb them”.This amazing village offers you a lot of things for sightseeing and purchasing: the famous Positano-styled fashion, shoes, dresses, hats, Positano styled ceramics, food and architecture. You will have one hour to visit this amazing place and its shops.

After that, get prepared to a very particular experience: the extra-virgin olive tasting. We will first start visiting an olive oil factory, here expertises are going to show you how this incredible ingredient is prepared, step by step. Are you already mouth-watering? Don’t worry we not just stand there “watching”, you will have the chance to taste different kind of oil of the best quality, with fresh baked Italian bread. You can’t go back to your country without at least 10 bottles of this golden liquid.

After the experience of Olive oil tasting, we will then drive to Sorrento. Arrived in the city of Sorrento, the private driver will leave you in the historical square called Piazza Tasso for your free time , but first of all he will show you the fastest way to go to inner part of the city where you can visit the old churches, museums, the beautiful buildings and the landscapes. You can visit the factory of famous Limoncello; an alcoholic drink made by lemons, sugar and water, a typical Italian product.

At this point it’s time for a nice lunch, trust our staff and you will enjoy a incredible meal made by local ingredients, such as seafood and handmade fresh pasta. Alternatively you can have a pizza or a panino, something quicker but equally delicious.Stopping for lunch will be according to your needs and your time.

Before leaving your private driver please agree upon the time to leave in order to reach your cruise ship on time. During the ride to the port, you can reminisce about your lovely day mixed with italian olive oil and the present day beauty of one of the most famous coastlines in the world!

General Informations

All our drivers have been trained to give a tour along the route as you are driven to your destinations, however due to strict Italian laws regulating and protecting licensed tour guides our drivers cannot do this outside of the vehicle, in the towns, sites and museums.

Kid Friendly: YES (This tour is suitable for children as long as they are supervised by a parent).

Please , comunicate the age of kids up to 6 years old in order to provide a baby car seat.

We reserve the right to change the order in which we visit the sites.

Passengers with a Reduced Mobility (PRM) Friendly : YES (you must enjoy walking short distances and be able to get in and out of minivan and minibus).

The client must know that we will provide this tour despite bad weather.

According to our driver on the day , we can also arrange a different tour. This is something possible caused by the traffic , strikes, extreme weather, landslide / mudslide, closed road, etc.

Please be advised that some shops or sites may be closed during the off-season (mid-November through mid-March)

We visited the Amalfi Coast with our guide Enrico in early Oct. 2017. Enrico showed such a passion he has for the Amalfi Coast, He was fun, talkative, and Informative about the area of the world he lives. He knew the best spots for photos, and recommended the most beautiful spot for a lunch I have ever seen. Thanks to Enrico for providing us such an amazing start to our vacation. Will request him again when we return to that most beautiful part of the world.

It is hard to find enough adjectives to describe how much our group of six enjoyed the experience with Love Amalfi Tours. Giavani was our driver and we too feel like we made a new friend. We took two tours and it was hard to say goodby to him after our second tour. He is warm, funny, smart, and very informative and creative in the ways he takes you on the excursion you sign up for. We all have travelled a lot and taken many different tours and all six of us agreed that this was the best experience we have ever had. We continue to talk about how much fun we had and how incredibly beautiful the places we went with Giavani were. We also had Lina as our guide for Pompeii and Herculean and she was vey informative and adeptly helped us get through the crowds at Pompeii while giving us a full understanding of the history there. Don't even look elsewhere for another tour company. There is no question that the way this company is run that it is the very best. We spent a week at a Villa in Positano and booked two tours through Lovely Amalfi Tou poprs. Our driver was Giovanni. He was professional, pleasant, funny and knowledgeable. On our tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum we also booked a guide for each sight. Lina was our guide and clearly knew the history. We would not have known what we were looking at had we not had Lina guiding us. What is amazing about Lovely Amalfi Tours is that all the drivers and guides are employees. They do not use third party companies to manage their tours. I couldn't have been happier with this choice. I would use them again and would not hesitate recommending them to family and friends.

Our trip to Amalfi coast was made heavenly because of Lovely Amalfi Tours and Giovanni. The service provided was excellent and efficient. Customer service of Melania was fabulous. Gio made sure we saw every inch of Amalfi and his lunch suggestions were fabulous. My most favourite memory is Gio singing to beautiful classics driving along the beautiful coastline of Positano.
