Houses, archs, domes, streets all together descend from the summit of “Comuni” and “Sant’Angelo tre pizzi” mountains. The houses are completely white like the famous Greece houses. A proverb said “In Positano you don’t walk along the street, you climb the street”. Painters, directors, writers all of them found inspiration in this wonderful city, in the lives of these people, in the lives of fisherman. Capri and Positano have became an important centre for the international jet-set and for the tourist industry.
- S.Maria Assunta Church: In “Flavio Plaza” there is this wonderful church where is located a famous and old byzantine icon: “La Madonna nera” (The Black Madonna).
- “Li Galli Island”: in the sea of Positano there are three rocks called “Li Galli” that are famous for the legend of the mermaids.
