The tour will begin after you meet your private driver who will be easily recognizable due to the sign on which will be written your name and our agency logo at the port where your cruise ship will be docked. After a brief presentation your private driver will accompany you at the luxurious vehicle where and will offer you every comfort you need. According to an old Italian proverb “In Positano you don’t walk along the streets, you climb them”.This amazing village offers you a lot of things for sightseeing and purchasing: the famous Positano-styled fashion, shoes, dresses, hats, Positano styled ceramics, food and architecture. You will have one hour to visit this amazing place and its shops.

At this point it’s time for a nice lunch, trust our staff and you will enjoy a incredible meal made by local ingredients, such as seafood and handmade fresh pasta. Alternatively you can have a pizza or a panino, something quicker but equally delicious. Stopping for lunch will be according to your needs and your time.

After this incredible visit, your driver will take you on a coastal drive (the famous Amalfi Coast) heading to Amalfi town. This one is such an important city for the Campania region that it gives its name to the entire coast. Here you can find several touristic spots such as the cathedrals next to the sea, the shopping streets, the museums and the square “Piazza del Duomo” and its unique church, the beautiful "Sant'Andrea Cathedral".The Amalfi Cathedral is a striking structure with 62 steps leading to its entrance. Its façade is Arabic-influenced Romanesque with a bold mix of stripes, arches, mosaics and textures. The bell tower and cupola are decorated with green and yellow tiles. The heavenly Cloister of Paradise is home to the tombs of Amalfi's wealthy merchants and features Moorish styling in white marble. The Crypt of St. Andrew is located in an altar decorated with beautiful Baroque murals dating from 1660.

General Informations

All our drivers have been trained to give a tour along the route as you are driven to your destinations, however due to strict Italian laws regulating and protecting licensed tour guides our drivers cannot do this outside of the vehicle, in the towns, sites and museums.

Kid Friendly: YES (This tour is suitable for children as long as they are supervised by a parent).

Please , comunicate the age of kids up to 6 years old in order to provide a baby car seat.

We reserve the right to change the order in which we visit the sites.

*Reduced Mobility (PRM): We are happy to accommodate guests with reduced mobility. However, the tour requires short walks and the ability to step in and out of the minivan.

According with the driver on the day we can also arrange a different tour. This is something possible caused by the traffic, strikes, bad weather, etc.

We used Lovely Amalfi Coast Tours for a day, we had 12 people and 2 vans. Gio and the other driver exceeded our expectations. I feel awful I cant remember the second drivers name, he was wonderdul. Our day started with them picking us up at the Cruise port. They were so friendly from the start, I felt like they were family. They brought us to a shop to try Lemonchello as we requested. They stopped at a few places where we were able to get the perfect pictures. As we drove to places they explained what we were seeing and about the town. We then went shopping and had lunch in Sorrento. Then we were off to the Herculaneum. One of the best memories for me is that both my grandparents are from Italy and I had their birth certificates. Gio translated them for me and was able to tell me more about the regions they were from. My grandmother is from a region that makes good wine. Gio helped us find wine from the region and we were able to taste it and ultimately ship some home. This isnt just a tour company. They truly love what they do and treat you like family. I highly recommend them!
