The tour will begin after you meet your private driver who will be easily recognizable due to the sign on which will be written your name on at the Livorno Port where your cruise ship will be docked. Our first stop will be Volterra, we have to go to the top of a hill, to a more of 600 meters of altitude to a city whose history and art are ancient. The city of Volterra, with its unique medieval atmosphere and amazing landscapes will definitely give you the best vibes. Plus this is the best place to go shopping for handmade items in the little and traditional artisanal shops or to taste the best tuscanian wines.

Our next destination will be the small city of San Gimignano. To get to this tiny borough we have to drive up to the top of the hill. Surrounded by the medieval walls, this city is well known for the skyline. It’s not the modern skyline of New york with its skyscrapers, but it is made of tall towers, still preserved from the dark centuries. The city is known for its frescos, churches, architecture and plazas such as “Piazza della Cisterna”. A small city but it will be an amazing experience to live.

But Tuscany region is very famous for its wine tradition too, and with us you will live that side of this culture as well. We will drive you through the delightful hills of the Tuscan countryside, with an ever-changing scenery of vineyards and olive tree. You will visit the vineyards, have the chance to see how wines are made and taste them. This will be a beautiful excursion through the .Don’t miss the chance to taste amazing wines exported to all the world, such as Vernaccia grape, in the place were they are originally made.

Before leaving your private driver please agree upon the time to leave in order to reach your cruise ship on time. During the ride to the port, you can reminisce about your lovely day!

All our drivers have been trained to give a tour along the route as you are driven to your destinations, however due to strict Italian laws regulating and protecting licensed tour guides our drivers cannot do this outside of the vehicle, in the towns, sites and museums.

Kid Friendly: YES (This tour is suitable for children as long as they are supervised by a parent).

Please , comunicate the age of kids up to 6 years old in order to provide a baby car seat.

We reserve the right to change the order in which we visit the sites.

Passengers with a Reduced Mobility (PRM) Friendly : YES (you must enjoy walking short distances and be able to get in and out of minivan and minibus).

We spent a week at a Villa in Positano and booked two tours through Lovely Amalfi Tou poprs. Our driver was Giovanni. He was professional, pleasant, funny and knowledgeable. On our tour of Pompeii and Herculaneum we also booked a guide for each sight. Lina was our guide and clearly knew the history. We would not have known what we were looking at had we not had Lina guiding us. What is amazing about Lovely Amalfi Tours is that all the drivers and guides are employees. Our trip to Amalfi coast was made heavenly because of Lovely Amalfi Tours and Giovanni. The service provided was excellent and efficient. Customer service of Melania was fabulous. Gio made sure we saw every inch of Amalfi and his lunch suggestions were fabulous. My most favourite memory is Gio singing to beautiful classics driving along the beautiful coastline of Positano. Brenda, Lori and Pearl were picked up at Naples port by Gaetano on Sept. 10/16. We had a most memorable day on the Amalfi Coast thanks to our driver Gaetano. We went to Sorrento, Positano and Pompeii. We stopped along the way for pictures and enjoyed the views. Gaetano had arranged for lunch with a wonderful view of Positano below.
