The tour will begin after you meet your private driver who will be easily recognizable due to the sign on which will be written your name and our agency logo at the port where your cruise ship will be docked. After a brief presentation your private driver will accompany you at the luxurious vehicle where and will offer you every comfort you need. Furthermore he will give you important information about the travel and the places that you are going to visit.
We are going to begin with one of the best and most exported italian product: The extra virgin olive oil. This ingridients, which is at the base of the Italian cuisine, is as good as healthy. Full of anti-oxidants and vitamins it’s a very gift of the nature, as long as you don’t exaggerate. The olive oil we are visting is in Massa Lubrense, a small city that we are going to reach by a special Italian Veichle, the “Ape Car”. During this brief tour you will see the olive trees from which the olives used for making the oil are collected. Expertises will explain you all the process, from the gathering to the transformation in this yellow liquid gold that you can taste with fresh baked bread.
After this tasteful activity there will be another equally mouthwatering. You will find out how different kind of cheeses, such as “Mozzarella” and “Provolone del Monaco” have been made for 300 years so far. These two cheeses have been made for centuries by the same family who owned farms on the “Monti Lattari”. Especially Mozzarella cheese whose name comes from the way of producing it, in Italian the ancient name of Mozzarella was “Mozza”, which comes from the verb “Mozzare” in English it means “Slice”, “Cut” or “Divide”. But these farmers will show you better all the process, without forgetting the most important part, tasting the products.
Our next activity is a very funny experience: The Pizza School. Each one of you have had the chance to taste pizza in your life, some of them have even eaten the original one. But have you ever made one by your own? An expert Pizzaiolo will teach you every secret, from the ingridients, how to make the pizza, to the right way too cook eat.This is a class where you don’t need to take notes, nor you have to worry about homework, because your only homework is to eat the Pizza you just made. You don’t have to blame the dog this time!
Our last activity is one of the best ones: the tasting of the famous Italian liquor, the “Limoncello”. This beverage is made with alcool, lemons, sugar and water, and it is amazing. Even here you will be showned how it is produced and there will be tastings as well. If there is time left at the end of this experience, you will have the chance to visit the city of Sorrento as well.
