These three famous places are very beautiful, however we feel you must be advised that you may feel rushed and left yearning for more time in each location. We always suggest that you focus on your preferred interests as you select a tour, so if you MUST see all 3, heed this warning and enjoy.
The tour will begin after you meet your private tour guide who will be easily recognizable due to the sign on which will be written your name and our agency logo at the port where your cruise ship will be docked. After a brief presentation, he/she will take you to the tickets office where you will be assisted with purchasing of your hydrofoil tickets (additional cost). You will board the hydrofoil to the world famous island of Capri at 7:55 am, for this reason it is very important to meet up at 7:30 am!
Capri is one of the most famous Neapolitan islands, and one of the most fashion place in the world. Travel to Capri is a highlight of Campania region offers. Capri is an enchanting and picturesque island made of limestone rock. A favorite with Roman emperors, the rich and famous, artists, and writers, it's still one of the Mediterranean's must-see places. The island's top attraction is the famous "Caesar Augustus gardens" with the best view of "Faraglioni rocks".You will arrive at Marina Grande, the island's main harbor. Beaches are scattered around the island. There are only two towns - Capri, just above Marina Grande, and Anacapri, the higher town. Once you are there, you can go straight up to the famous Piazzetta with the Funicular, enjoying the view and the particular transportation, or just take a bus to Anacapri, another unique zone of this amazing island. Get lost among the shops of international brand that have in Capri island one of the most important hub.
After Capri, you will reach Sorrento by hydrofoil. Arrived in the city of Sorrento, the private tour guide will leave you in the historical square called "Piazza Tasso" for leisure time, but first of all he/she will show you the inner part of the city where you can visit the old churches, museums, the beautiful buildings and the landscapes. You can visit the factory of famous Limoncello; an alcoholic drink made by lemons, sugar and water, a typical Italian product.
At this point it’s time for a nice lunch, trust our staff and you will enjoy a incredible meal made by local ingredients, such as seafood and handmade fresh pasta. Alternatively you can have a pizza or a panino, something quicker but equally delicious.
On the way to Pompeii, we will drive by Mt. Vesuvius, the volcano responsible for one of the most famous historical events in Italy. The old city of Pompeii is located at the base of the Vesuvius and was flourish during the Period of the Roman Empire. After the eruptions of the Volcano in 79 B.C the city has been destroyed and covered by ashes and lapillus. The Archeological dig started in 1748 and in three centuries only 3/5 part of the city has been discovered. Now the city has declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO and 3.750.000 tourists each year come to visit it.
