The tour will begin after you meet your private driver who will be easily recognizable due to the sign on which will be written your name on at the Civitavecchia Port where your cruise ship will be docked. The tour will start visiting the “Colosseum”, probably the most symbolic Italian site, where gladiators fought against each others or against beasts during Roman Era. People from all around the world come to visit it. Outside it stand up witnessing the strength of an ancient empire, inside you will find the scars of hundreds of battles, most of them just for the amusement of the rich people.
Later on, you will be visiting the famous “Spanish steps”, this huge stairs that starts from Piazza di Spagna up to Piazza Trinità dei Monti, both of them amazing Roman squares, especially the first one where you will find the famous “Barcaccia Fountain” by the Bernini artists;
The incredible “Fontana di Trevi” one of the best known Italian artwork, here you can take a picture and admire this legendary fountain where directors, painters, poets, artists have found inspiration. Do not forget to toss a coin and make a wish;
Absolutely we cannot miss the “Pantheon”, once a temple to all the Roman gods now a christian church. A circular structure which is one of the most mysterious palace in Rome.

After lunch it will be time for another important place here in Rome is the “Vatican”, an independent state ruled by the Pope and the Christian Church. Here you can find not only the Apostolic Palace, residence of His Santity, but other important churches, Christian places, and the Vatican Museums. Amazing museums including the Sistine Chapel ,where you can admire the Michelangelo playworks such as the frescos and the very famous Sistine Chapel ceiling, and thousands of other Christians treasures.
Before leaving your private driver please agree upon the time to leave in order to reach your cruise ship on time. During the ride to the port, you can reminisce about your incredible day mixed with ancient Roman history and one of the most famous city in the world!
On the last sunday of the month, the visit to the Vatican Museum is free of charge (we can't purchase “Fast track entrance” tickets) , we advise you not to visit it on this day in order to avoid waste of time in the queue (approx 2 hrs queue).
